Tough economic times are threatening the safety and well-being of the children and families in our community. Families are in crisis and in need of help as never before. There has been a sharp increase in demand for Relief Nursery family support and child abuse and neglect prevention services. New families are reaching out to us and current Relief Nursery parents who have worked so hard to achieve stable employment and overcome alcohol and drug dependency are now unemployed and unable to adequately provide for their children.
