Leadership Board Fundraiser – Dodge for a Cause
Leadership Board plans and executes one major fundraiser per year, which is a Dodgeball Tournament that supports Parenting Education.
Why Parenting Education?
Relief Nursery provides comprehensive support services to families experiencing a multitude of stressors, and one of the most critical services is Parenting Education.
We serve nearly 900 families each year, and the Dodgeball Tournament ensures we can provide Parenting Education to families at no cost to them.

With their help, we have been able to provide multiple opportunities every year for parents to attend parenting classes both in Spanish and English and to provide transportation, childcare, and a meal for families. Special Fundraising Projects
Auxiliary organizes fundraisers to benefit our family support fund, which directs one-time gifts to families who have an unexpected expense that would be harmful to their family situation if left unpaid, like a high utility bill, a flat tire, bus fare, document fees, etc. Fundraisers in recent years have included painting nights at Vino and Vango, Trivia Night, and Bowling Night at Lane 25.
