Therapeutic Early Childhood Program
Relief Nursery therapeutic classrooms provide enriching classroom experiences for children ages 2-5 with a strong focus on promoting children’s social-emotional development in a safe and nurturing environment.
Through sensory experiences, garden and nature activities, creative expression, art, music and movement, we provide numerous opportunities for children to explore and develop. These activities help counteract the effects of stress, further supporting healthy early childhood development.

Dedicated and Diverse Staff
With more than half of our teachers being bilingual and bicultural, we are able to provide home visits and classroom interactions in both English and Spanish. Our classrooms are a reflection of the rich cultural heritage of our children, families, and staff, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Collaborative Family Partnerships
We place a strong value on providing services that engage and support the whole family. Through home visits, staff and parents form a trusting partnership in which to nurture the child’s development, strengthen the family’s protective factors, and reduce barriers to healthy parent-child attachment.
The Therapeutic Early Childhood Program is part of an array of services that are proven to lead to better outcomes for children and families.

Enrolled families can access additional support services, including:
-
- Parent Coaching and Parenting Classes
- Child and Family Therapy
- Early Intervention / Early Childhood Special Education
- Substance Use Disorder Recovery Support
- Food Pantry and Clothing Closet
Through this holistic and compassionate approach, we are committed to nurturing early childhood development and helping each child reach their full potential.
