Relief Nursery’s Holiday Giving Program

Donate to Relief Nursery’s Virtual Giving Tree here.

This year, we must acknowledge that COVID-19 is affecting our ability to carry out our holiday giving programs in a way that will keep families, supporters, volunteers and staff safe.

UPDATE: Thanks to our generous community, we have already reached our goal for Thanksgiving, and we will be able to provide 100 meals to Relief Nursery families!

We do still need help to reach our Virtual Giving Tree goal:

This year, to keep everyone safe, we will not be collecting gifts for distribution. Rather, we will be asking for donations from the community to purchase gift cards for Relief Nursery families to be given out in early December. In a season when vulnerable families have been greatly affected by health and economic crises, a gift card will go a long way toward helping parents provide for basic needs and holiday gifts for their children, while maximizing our efforts around safety and social distancing.

Donations to the Virtual Giving Tree can be made by cash, check or online by clicking here. Should you prefer to purchase and donate a gift card directly, the stores that are most easily accessed by families are Walmart, Fred Meyer, Target and Amazon. Gift cards can be mailed to Relief Nursery, 1720 W. 25th Ave. Eugene, OR, or a time can be arranged to drop off directly to Relief Nursery by contacting Maggie Dorris at

Thank you for keeping Relief Nursery families close to your heart, and thank you for helping us keep everyone safe during this challenging time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out directly to Maggie if you have any questions:
